The purpose of our Comprehensive Plan is to outline where, when, and how the community will develop over the next 10-20 years. A successful planning effort will ask tough questions and push the community to come together around solutions that are inspiring, but realistic. Typically, a comprehensive plan is updated periodically, however this endeavor is not an update; we will be creating a brand-new plan that builds off a community vision. Through goal setting, public participation, and planning staff guidance, the outcome will be a clear and sound plan that is based on realistic growth and fiscal sustainability.
