Application Process:

  • The application form, with plans or sketches, must be submitted to the Parks Superintendent or the Administrative Assistant at City West.
  • The Parks & Beautification Board will review the application to determine approval or denial of the grant.
  • If the grant is awarded, an Agreement will be prepared and executed prior to the start of the project.
  • Upon completion of the project, invoices and other proof of payment documentation will be submitted to the Parks Superintendent for approval.
  • Staff will inspect the project and upon acceptance, the first payment will be issued.
  • After one year, City staff will re-inspect the project. Landscaping must be properly maintained and plant material must be healthy. The Parks Superintendent will then issue the second payment of 25%.
